Ferd Fall 2011

For the Ferd Fall 2011 collection, in addition to her smock-shaped Jerseys and Liberty prints, Connaughton added lovely wool tweeds that look more modern than traditional.

We have amazing mandarin collar tunic shirts in a NEW narrower fit, with buttons all the way down.

There is an amazing washable wool cardigan for Boys. There are patches on the elbows and wool pockets!! Here is a sneak peak at the style!!

A dress, no matter how pretty the fabric is, can be a little ho-hum. Connaughton updated the look with an interesting two-tone effect and tied it with an unexpected, flirty Liberty print ribbon. Funny how a couple of tweaks can make all the difference.

(ribbon will not be black.... it will be liberty print)

Ferd will be AMAZING!! Gorgeous, Different and, as usual Machine Washable!!!!!

Soooo........ school was canceled.... AGAIN!!!! What are we going to do?????????? Here is my favorite activity to do with my kids- that really keeps them busy for hours!!!!!!

B- Pop Arty bead kit!! Make the craziest necklaces, bracelets and rings..... and if you think it only kept the kids busy..... I LOVED IT!!!! I had made myself an entire collection of jewelery to wear to work the next day ( of course my daughter insisted that I made it for her.. little does she know...) It was fun that lasted all afternoon.. .and by all I MEAN ALL!!!!!
